Websites, built by hand

Marley Miller

I design and build websites for venues, artists, events and small businesses.

(01) The approach

Every site I make starts with the place it is for. A saloon that sells its own history. A dance collective with a password at the door. An artist whose site sounds like the music. Yours should feel like yours.

(02) Selected work

Five sites, built by hand

01

The Central Saloon

Client work · Merch page · 2026

Seattle's oldest saloon has a wall of show posters going back to 1986. I turned it into a store where every shirt is a night at the bar.

  • Posters tilt under the cursor while a stage light follows it
  • Tap any poster for the story of its night
  • Era filters, sale tags and paired items
  • A private staff report: hover time per shirt, store clicks, scroll depth

02

CultFest

Client work · Events site · 2026

A Seattle dance music collective whose line is "not a party, a ritual." The site keeps that feeling, from the locked door to the text list.

  • A password gate for the pre-launch
  • Text-list sign-up with phone verification for presales
  • Events, promos and a gallery from the floor
  • An advertise-with-us page for brand partners

nomoredeathmusic.com

My own · Artist site · 2026

My site as NOMOREDEATH. Bass music for dark rooms, so the site is built like one.

  • Lighthouse mobile performance score of 100
  • Merch pulled live from the store
  • A press page with a downloadable kit
  • Self-hosted on my own server, with drop sign-ups

04

StarSync

My own · Product site · 2026

StarSync is the multiplayer music app I am building. Its site does the selling and the gatekeeping.

  • Passcode-gated alpha downloads, one code per tester
  • Account sign-up and paid plan checkout
  • Runs on the same server as the app

DIE VIRAL

For beebo · Portfolio · 2026

A portfolio for beebo, a hard techno DJ who makes social content for other DJs. It leads with receipts: real reels and real numbers.

  • A wall of client reels up front
  • A stats board where every number has a source

(04) What I build

Sites that do the work for you

01

Venues and bars

Events, menus, history and the things only your room has.

02

Artists and DJs

Music, shows, merch and a press kit in one place.

03

Events and collectives

Ticket links, text lists, presale gates and galleries.

04

Merch and stores

Product pages that sell the story, not just the shirt.

05

Bookings and sign-ups

Forms that actually land in your inbox.

06

Custom tools

Private dashboards, staff pages and the odd thing nobody sells.

(05) Process

From first call to live

01

Call

We talk about the business, who it is for and what the site has to do.

02

Direction

I come back with a look and a plan. You pick, I refine.

03

Build

Built by hand, fast to load, checked on phones and desktops.

04

Launch

I put it live on your domain and show you how to keep it fresh.
